What is a MasterCube?
A MasterCube (MC) is a specific interpretation of the more general CI-CUBE. It is designed to reflect the achievement of an (academic) degree, such as a Master/Bachelor examen or even a PhD.
What is a MasterCube License Number?
One major paradigm of the CI-CUBE concept is that any (official) CI-CUBE belongs to an Edition and therefore has a License Number, something like CIC9.4. All MasterCubes are sub licenses of the main license CIC9. The MasterCube license numbers are free of charge.
How can I get my MasterCube License Number?
It will be assigned if you contact us to create your own MC edition.
Can I request a certain BC License Number such as CIC9.9999?
No, you'll get the next available MC Number.
Are MC Editions generally Limited Editions?
No.
Is there a minimum size of a MC Edition?
Yes, five identical pieces.
Can I release more than one MC Edition?
Yes. If CIC9.7 is your first Edition you may then release a CIC9.7.1 and so on.
Do I have to provide a deposit copy to CI-CUBE?
No.
Can I produce my MC Cube by myself?
Yes, but you must ensure to fit the geometrical definitions of the CI-CUBE.
What is the size of a Cube?
It's a cube with 4 cm edge length.
Can there be other sizes?
No, because then the Cube Racks wouldn't work.
